No bidding is required. If someone likes what you have to offer, they just put in the order and you can begin working.

Time Etc is looking for virtual assistants based in the U.S. with 5 years of experience. You can set your own schedule, but must be available during the working day.
The main tasks you will need to perform are basic admin work, make travel arrangements, schedule appointments, and form filing.
Worldwide 101 is looking for virtual assistants from the U.S. with a minimum of 7 years of experience in administration, executive assistance or marketing.
Your main tasks will include basic admin work such as email management, planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, and travel.
The work is 100% remote with flexible hours, paid vacation and holidays. You will start out part-time with the opportunity to become full-time. The starting pay is $20 an hour.
Fancy Hands is looking for virtual assistants with great communication skills to make phone calls, schedule appointments, find hotels, data entry, etc.

Upwork is one of the best freelance marketplaces for you to find more clients and to grow your freelance business. Upwork connects you with potential clients, but you have to bid for the project. The downside is that you don’t always get the projects, especially when you’re new.
